| 05 September 2010 | Hello all, its been a while.....Firstly a huge thanks to those who came out to see us at the Rose in Biggelswade at the end of July, what all feared to be quiet night, turned out to be anything but. We are currently putting a new set together for the help for heroes gig in Cheddington (hugely worthwhile charity) so come along if you can on 2nd October and then it's the long run into the last quarter for Winter gigs and (yes)Christmas. | 18 July 2010 | Hi all, a big thanks to everyone that came to see us at the Red Lion in Stevenage Old town last night. Despite the limitations in terms of space which prompted direct interaction with the crowd, the Red Lioners were certainly our kind of crowd and the reception was great. Thanks to all. We will be back as soon as diaries permit. Photos are now up on the Gallery Page. Next Stop is one of regular haunts, The Rose in sunny Biggleswade on Saturday the 31st July. | 10 June 2010 | Its been a busy couple of weeks here in Rock Factor land. Firstly thanks to Mark and all his family and friends for making us so welcome and being such a great crowd at Marks big 40 party. Many of the assembled were highly 'refreshed' by the end of the night and no doubt paracetemol was the breakfast order on Sunday. Photos are on Gallery page. Thanks also to the other mark at the Fox and Hounds in Clapham for asking us to provide the noise for the help for heroes event. Thanks also to all assembled and for the kind comments about the band and the set-list. Hopefully we will see you all again later in the summer (If it ever stops raining). | ||||
| 23 May 2010 | Well.... its been a bit of a holiday for the band given various band members work commitments. However, we are now settled in for a busy summer and beyond with a brace of confimed dates and a pile of others to be announced. We have been brushing up some new songs from different era's of classic rock, as well as expanding the Pink Floyd medely section. We are delighted to support 'Help for Heroes' and have a number of gigs on behalf of charity lined up for this year. The first is at the Fox and Hounds in Clapham, Bedford on Sunday 30th May. Things kick off around 6pm (weather permitting) so if you fancy seeing the sunset in to our particular brand of classic rock we would be delighted to see you. | ||||
| 13 March 2010 | Morning all....Just back from sunny Kettering after last nights gig. Thanks to all who turned up and to Stuart for inviting us back. Every time we visit, the pink floyd section of the show gets bigger due to popular request, last night we premiered 'Time' complete with our 'tick-tock box' and we hope to have more ready by the time we come back later in the year. Now where's that inflatable pig? | ||||
| 27 February 2010 | We're back!....Our January break was followed by a couple of early 2010 sessions, the last of which was on Thursday night. The folks in Buckingham love their classic rock and made us feel very welcome. Top crowd! Thanks to Colin and the Jammers for looking after us, we will be back later in the year for sure. | 27 December 2009 | Thanks to all that turned up at the Rose in Biggleswade for our last pub gig of 09, we will be back next year. We are now taking a break for the early part of January to learn some new stuff, but will be back on the road in February. Keep an eye on the gigs page for details.......A huge thanks to all associated with TRF for 2009 and to everyone that turned out to see us. 2010 promises to be even better. | 08 December 2009 | A big Thank you to John and Andrew who invited us to play at the Soundarc 'Arcfest' festival at club 85 in Hitchin on Sunday. The weekend was a fund raiser for the Letchworth Garden Hospice and a thoroughly worthwhile event. Taking the stage at 2.00pm was a new experience for us given that some band members had only just got out of bed! But thanks to all for making the effort. This Saturday (12th) its back to The Rose in Biggleswade for more classic pub/dad rock, see you there! | ||||
| 29 November 2009 | Coming Up…….. TRF are back on Sun 06 December 2009 and are on the bill for ARC FEST at Club 85 Winbush Road Hitchin. All proceeds go to the Garden House Hospice and the entrance fee is a measly £3. We are scheduled to be on stage at 2.00pm for a hit packed half hour of power, so why not pop down and top up your classic rock tank before your Sunday roast. On Saturday 12th December its back to the Rose in sunny Biggleswade for our final pub gig of the year. Its normally a good night with plenty of air guitar and singing from suitably ‘refreshed’ punters. The action starts at 9.00 and is something like an end of term party for us. See you there! | ||||
